I started diving in 2002 when my daughter was doing the open
water course and I decided to do the course with her.
From starting to dive just to accompany my daughter I ended
up becoming an Instructor. My diving adventure took me
to different destinations like the Black Sea, White Sea,
Ladoga Lake, Antarctica, Red Sea, Thailand and exploring
Mexico's Cenotes. These adventures have given me
unforgettable experiences like diving with sharks, manta
rays and other beautiful sea creatures.
I visited Malta many times and fell in
love with the Maltese culture, climate, friendly people
and fantastic diving. For this reason when I had the
chance I came to settle in Malta. As a Technical Diver,
in Malta I have a haven of historical wrecks and caverns
that are fantastic to explore. |

Lina is the person who answers your emails and phone calls. Lina
organises all the diving as well as takes care of
administration and is the Subway Webmaster.
Finished school in 1978 and started working in 1980 in the
Manufacturing Industry at a Corrugated Card Board Sheet Plant.
Started as a clerk and ended up as the Personal Assistant to the
Managing Director, a post kept till 1996.
I started diving way back in February of 1985 - first dive was
in Sirens - freezing cold and an experience that got me hooked.
I became a member of The Amphibians Diving Club and used to dive
regularly mostly during weekends.
In 1997 started working for Subway Dive Centre when the company
was still based in Xemxija, St. Paul's Bay - during the same
year Subway's opened the new premises in Pioneer Road, Bugibba.

Publio is a very out going
person who started diving way back in 1995, by July 1996
he became a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. He
continued moving up the PADI ladder and became a PADI
IDC Staff Instructor in November 2007 besides the fact
that he can also teach 14 PADI Specialty Courses with a
view to do more. Publio is interested in
underwater photography and has an extensive range of
photos... So we all know what his next Specialty
Instructor Course is going to be!
Being local he has a very good
knowledge of the dive sites and his constant smile
& banter always keeps the
customers happy. |

An I.T.
Technician by profession I got bored of the office life and
as the sea had always been my passion I decided to pursue my
dream. I started diving in 1987 and as a diver I
travelled and dived in St-Petersburg, Belgium, Spain, Cuba
and Malta. In 2005 I decided to Go Pro and make my dream my
profession. A decision which I never regretted.
With this in mind together with my family we moved to Malta
- A beautiful Island surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea.
In 2005 I became
a PADI Divemaster and started working as a dive guide and in
2008 I continued my commitment and became a PADI Open Water
Scuba Instructor. |
