When you arrive Our instructor will do a review of your Knowledge Development portion of the course.  The next step is the Five Dives in confined water and then you are introduced to four open water dives. Minimum Age is 13 years due to Internet Protocol.

National Geographic Diver Programme

As a National Geographic Diver, you join an elite group of explorers, adventurers and conservationists. The insight and training you gain during this programme will broaden your awareness and take your diving skills to a new level. You'll learn to observe and explore like an underwater scientist.

Your experience begins with the PADI Open Water Diver programme, enhanced with adventures unique to the National Geographic Diver programme. You will learn to explore with detail, identify important underwater features and navigate with certainty. You will have the diving knowledge and practice to manoeuvre with poise along the reef ’s ecosystems.

There are two ways that individuals can become National Geographic Divers.  At PADI National Geographic Dive Centres, people who do not already have a diver certification may enroll in the National Geographic Diver Programme.  This Programme covers all the knowledge and skills from the PADI Open Water Diver course to the additional information and requirements for National Geographic Diver Certification.  Individuals who already hold a  qualifying entry-level scuba certification (or higher level certification) may enroll in the National Geographic Diver Specialty Course (more details) conducted at PADI National Geographic Dive Centres.  During this programme, divers gain additional knowledge by studying with PADI National Geographic materials and also complete the skill performance requirements under the guidance of a PADI Instructor
